Just joined. I have a 2024 Dark Horse. Purchased it March 4, 2024. I live outside Charleston, South Carolina. We flew to Washington D.C. and Sheehy Ford in Springfield, Virginia picked us up from the airport. The entire deal was done online so we signed and drove it back home. We plan to show the car with my 2014 Shelby GT500. I had a 1965 Fastback for 20 years and a 2016 Shelby GT350 for 7 years. My love for Mustang started as a boy. It continues to this day. The Dark Horse is an awesome machine.

Our '24 was purchased from Sterling Ford in Virginia and we live in southeast SD. The purchase dealing with that dealership was online and over the phone. The dealership often times during the purchase with a car they had on the lot and a cash purchase would not answer the phones, nor return emails and texts. Had to get Ford involved to get the car released, and you guessed it had to get them involved in order to get a receipt or any paperwork on the purchase. After almost 45 days later, had to get the local treasurer (elected official) in order to get paperwork to allow registration and title. What an absolute disaster. On the other hand, the car is wonderful.

Our experience was nothing like that. Glad you got your car. I got my Shelby GT500 in Wyoming in July. We spent 3 weeks out West. Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Montana, Idaho, South Dakota, Nebraska and Colorado. Just pure luck. Wasn’t looking to get a car but couldn’t pass up this car with only 8k miles and absolutely immaculate.

It is a much different world from metro DC to the rest of the free world.
