Handling package remorse

New owner ; been home a week. The tires that came on handling package sucks, useful only on hot dry roads. We had down pour and they were very ineffective. 2nd front splitter much too low for my area. So im wondering the cost to remove or Retro fit . Thoughts and suggestions???

That is one of the penalties of summer only/high performance tires ....thou shall not until hot . All of my corvettes were sail boats in heavy rain highway speeds and really scary in standing puddles . Learn to live with it or put on all season tires and spin .

oh i forgot if you think cold weather handling is bad wait until you find out how many miles you can go before they are worn out . speed = money....how fast do ya wanna go

Perelli tires normally wear well but I honestly don't care given how poor the traction is

We ordered Michelin Pilot Sport 4S the day after we bought the car since we knew the tires on it were track tires. The Pirelli tires usually wear aout before 7500 miles. The Michelin's are wonderful!

What size tires are you using?

The original size, 305 & 315

Perelli tires normally wear well but I honestly don't care given how poor the traction is

They are only rated for 3000 miles. Not particularly good for tires but they do handle excellently on summer days without rain.
