UncleTed here. I ordered DH on Feb 10, 2024, that build was not scheduled and has been pushed to a 2025MY. In the meantime, I started looking for used Mach1 to have either in the interim or instead of the DH if I liked it enough. I tried to buy 5 different Mach1's but either they were sold the day before I called (x3) or I couldn't get for the right price. Anyway, I accidentally searched for used DH's and found one with 205miles on it. Premium, Vapor, HP, Tremec, Recaros, appearance Pkg. The only difference between this one and my build was I ordered painted stripes instead of AP. So now I have a DH!!!
About me, I'm the son of a sports writer who wrote a weekly Motorsports column. I grew up going with my Dad to cover all kinds of racing. Then he was PR director and then GM at Sears Point and then Laguna Seca after that. I learned to drive when I was 12 doing hot laps at Sears Point with my Dad coaching from the right seat. I thought I was cool but it was my Dad that was cool for making that happen.
I was a D1 scholarship track Athlete at Cal and two time all-American on the bowling team. Yes that's a weird double. Then touring professional bowler and now Physical Therapist for the last 25 years. I play golf and do track days. I was tracking an Audi S5, probably 80 events and have been certified to coach by the Motorsport Foundation. I have tracked the Audi with Audi club, HOD, ETC, SpeedSF, and OnGrid. Anyway, that's me in a nutshell, I look forward to learning about this car with you fine people and maybe seeing you at the track or golf course.
