Ford Performance has teased the Mustang Dark Horse R on Threads before its official unveiling set for July 27. The Dark Horse R is a fresh track-focused variant of the seventh-generation Mustang, slotting above the Dark Horse S and beneath the recently revealed high-performance GT4 and GT3 racers. The sneak peek includes a sketch of the vehicle's rear view, which closely mirrors the production model, distinguished by the clear presence of a roll-cage inside the cabin. Additionally, the image showcases Ford Performance's new logo, adorned with striking blue, red, and white graphics, which may hint at the model's presentation livery.

I like the new FP logo but think they could have done better... unless I'm missing something. The negative space doesn't really represent anything that I can see...

Is the Dark Horse R going to be street-legal or is it a track-only car like the GT4?
