93 vs 87 gas

So what is everyone running in there Dark Horse. I've read some of you are running 87 octane? Dealer told me 93 but owners manual states above 87 and performace 93 recommend.

Not too many miles yet, but 87 octane for first two tanks
 
Ford said their performance numbers (HP ratings, etc) based on 91 octane or better…so that’s what I will be using.
 
I run 93 exclusively. I just feel high performance engines and especially turbo/super charged cars need 93. It has worked for me so for.

I picked mine up in Indy and drove it to Austin burning 93 because I hadn’t realized it was designed to run on 87. Been running 87 since and see no performance issues. Everything I’ve read says you’re throwing your money away burning 93.
