I received a Compliance Recall Notice 25C43 / NHTSA Recall 25V546. The concern was water gaining entry into the BCM causing corrosion that would screw up all of your lights. Took it into my dealership and sure enough mine was one of those affected. Quality Control at FoMoCo has really gone...
Well that sucks! You might try going through Customer Care and escalate from that vantage point. I've done that a few times over the years and had some success.
BTW, there is a lot of chatter about the electronics on these. I never know what I'm going to get when I get into it each time...
The box was filled with literature about the Dark Horse and a couple of accessories. Nice of Ford to do this. I went to the Dark Horse Track Attack and almost a year later received the memento for attending. I'd completely forgotten about it.
Yes, it does. I bought the scissor jack as well but if memory serves me it won't fit under the spare so it is loose in the trunk. Not an issue with me because I have a Ford rubber mat in the trunk and things don't slide around.
I just received a package from a Ford dealership containing a bunch of Dark Horse literature and a couple of collectible items. Anyone else receive these? I purchased mine in November 2024. Had no idea this was coming to me. There's a certificate specific to my chassis/VIN.
That's not true. I bought one specifically designed for Dark Horse and Shelby. I also bought the scissor jack. Jack doesn't stow well but better than getting stranded and waiting on a tow.
Yes. I've been to Boss302 Track Attack outside Salt Lake City, GT350 Track Attack same facility and now Dark Horse Track Attack in Charlotte. Had a blast each time.
Welcome aboard! Assuming you bought it new be sure to take Ford up on the offer to attend the Dark Horse Track Attack in Charlotte. Doesn't matter what level of experience you have on a track you'll enjoy the adventure.
That's news to me. I have 4,750 miles no issues but wouldn't expect any either. I certainly wouldn't spend money to install an aftermarket clutch as long as I was under warranty. I think the clutch is the same as what was in my GT350s. The clutch blew in the 2017, severed the fuel line and...
No, probably not.
I bought my DH because as tempting as it was I couldn’t see spending $70K on a restored 1970 Mach I without any warranty.
I’ve owned several GT350s and consider the DH with a manual transmission comparable to them. I’ve got a considerable amount of track time over the years...
