Just hit the two-year mark with my Dark Horse that was built in December 2023. I absolutely love this car in every way.

It's proven to be a fantastic road-trip machine – with the Tremec 6-speed, I'm consistently getting around 25 mpg on the highway.

Performance? Awesome doesn't even cover it. Mods are minimal so far:
  • Added camber plates up front to fix the factory camber issue
  • Opening up the Ford Accessories quarter window covers tomorrow (they're a Christmas gift to the car – can't wait to install them!)
Other than that, it's completely stock as delivered.

Any other long-term Dark Horse owners out there? How's yours holding up?

I've had mine two years as well. No major issues but it's not a daily driver. I spend most of my time on Harley Davidson and drive the DH or my F350 when weather prevents me from riding. Still frustrating to get into it and find the digital displays have changed but at least I know how to get back to the display I want easily. My F350 does the same thing. Toying with getting a 2026 Mustang GT Premium convertible with every performance part available from the factory. You lose 20 HP but that's not a big deal. We'll see.

Gotta find time, we also ride. A 2020 Indian roadmaster, then add on a 2013 convertible and miss other cars and trucks. Last year it was all about the convertible. This year the focus will be back on the DH, along with the Indian. Currently it is winter here in South Dakota. Most homes here have huge garages compared to where we used to live in Illinois. Our home is in town and I fit 8 cars/truck in the attached garage along with bikes and lawn care crap.
