After Installing a Whipple Stage 1 Supercharger on my 2025 Dark Horse Two Weeks ago I have been taking it easy to break it in properly! Last week while driving to Dinner with my wife we were running at highway speed of 60-65mph and the Mustang went into LimpMode and immediately decelerated to 30 mph and would not allow acceleration. No dash lights, no noises just decelerated to 30 mph. Because it happened on a Friday evening I immediately took it to the house and put it up and on Monday took it to the Dealership to be checked out! When taking it to the dealership on Monday morning it went in and out of limp mode while driving to dealership. The mechanic took he Whipple Tomahawk V2 and checked for codes and none were found? He has driven it numerous times last week in all types of different acceleration modes and nothing has turned up and it has not gone into limp limp with him! My Wife experiences the situation as it happened to us and knows I’m not crazy! I have owned many Supercars, 2005, 2017 Ford GT’s as well as many others and was a Ford Dealer for 48 years , so I know vehicles very well! Any opinions? I drive a 2021 Expedition that had a transmission problem with 6,000 miles on it and it went into limp mode also! I’ve experienced it before! Help! My first thought was Supercharger connection somewhere?
